The platform operates through two distinct models. eSanjeevani AB-HWC (Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centre) facilitates doctor-to-doctor teleconsultations, connecting physicians at primary health centres with specialists at district and tertiary hospitals. eSanjeevani OPD enables direct patient-to-doctor consultations, allowing any citizen with an internet connection to consult a qualified medical practitioner from the comfort of their home.

The scale of eSanjeevani is without parallel in the global telemedicine landscape.
